In this blog you’ll find all manner of crafty posts (especially sewing) as I make my own stuff and search for cool stuff other people have made to share too. I will look at sewing, home décor, paper crafts like origami and seasonal decorations, baking and anything else. I plan to do how tos, essential guides, book reviews, event feedback, and anything else I can think of and that I want to do! You can also expect that everything I do will be on a tight budget as I have no money!
I love reading blogs on crafts, as well as books, and watching youtube videos, and I find it all really inspiring. Sewing, printing, paper crafts etc are forms of art, or at the very least creativity, and a form of expression. Crafting is a great outlet for the tension of everyday life. Also you can make cute things! The craft revolution is truly taking place, old skills are being revived by a new generation, but with a seriously modern twist. It’s no longer just about knitting booties but being inspired by anything you love especially the geeky and quirky stuff from popular culture.
I’ve made Mario pillow cases, a giraffe print backpack, and turned duvet covers into summer dresses. I enjoy making something unique, special, and me.
One day I hope to have a vast house with a designated craft room but until then this blog will exist as my virtual haberdashery. Hopefully you’ll enjoy looking at my creations as much as I enjoy looking at other blogs, and you’ll be inspire to make something of your own.
